Twilight Vampires[/b][/u]
This is the highest form of vampire. They are vemomous and one bite will either kill a human or turn them into a vampire. They are pale and beautiful with gold or red eyes which turn black when they are hungry. They do not bleed as thier skin is like Marble (See Eclipse). They have fangs but they are difficult to see unless one were to look closely, which is not advisable. They never sleep. They cannot be shot, stabbed or cut unless it is by rare specially designed weapons. The code word for making a Twilight vampire is 'Carlisle' They have no allergies to silver or wood like True Vampires. They do not cry. Most Twilight vampires have unique abilities. True Vampire[/b][/u]
True Vampires are very different from Twilight Vampires. They are not as strong as Twilight vampires but they are faster. They can be cut, shot and stabbed but will not die from the wounds unless it is inflicted on the heart, in which case their body will explode. True Vampires will burn up and die in sunlight and MUST sleep during the day. True Vampires have retractable fangs and will bleed if you cut them. They are highly allergic to silver and are rendered immobile if bound with it. They cannot touch silver. True Vampires can cry, but their tears are blood. The code word for True vampires is 'fangtasia' True Vampires turn others by draining them of their blood and replacing it with their own then burying themselves with their newborn. They then become responsible to that newborn and the newborn is attached to them with a parent/child bond. A True Vampire cannot turn someone by merely biting them. All true vampires have the same abilities, older vampires have the power of flight. Their eyes can be any color, unlike their Twilight Vampire cousins. NOTE: Twilight Vampires cannot create True Vampires or vice versa. As a rule they do NOT like eachother but in rare cases, unstable alliances can be made for the greater good of the mythical community.
Half Vampires[/b][/u]
Half vampires are EXTREMELY rare. They are the result of the joining of a twilight vampire and a human/supernatural human only (half vampire half demon is considered a hybrid. Please see hybrids for more info). True blood and VD vampire are INCAPABLE of creating a half vampire, although they enjoy trying. A half vampire pregnancy is rapid, usually lasting around 8-9 weeks at the most. Carrying a half vampire becomes physically debilitating for the mother and is usually bed ridden within the first month. While pregnant the human mother will experience heavy bruising and multiple broken bones, the most typical are the ribs and pelvis, as a result of the half vampire’s inhuman strength. Amniocentesis, ultrasounds, and standard C-section (I.E ones performed in a hospital) are impossible considering that the amniotic sac that houses the baby is as hard as a vampire’s skin. Once the pregnancy reaches its end the half vampire baby will tear its way through its mother’s stomach. This usually results in the mother dying from the trauma. There have been cases where, with the assistance of another vampire or healers, the mother can survive if turn in time after the delivery. To date there have been only a few known cases of the mother surviving.

VD Vampires[/b][/u]
Vampire Diaries vampries grow more powerful by consuming Human blood, and by the passage of time. If a Vampire does not drink human blood, these powers are prone to being less effective and unpredictable, or in some cases, such as mind compulsion, not working at all. Age also plays a factor in how strong a Vampire is. The older they get, the more powerful they become. All vampires need to drink some kind of blood. Whether it be human or animal is up to the vampire. If a vampire does not drink blood for a considerable amount of time, their heart will try to pump blood through their veins, but once there's none left, their veins rub together like sandpaper. It is a very painful experience. It has not been said if certain vampires preffer different types of blood, but it is presumed that while aging vampires need a smaller quantity of blood each time they feed. Vampires are nearly indestructible. A vampire stops aging once turned. They can not enter home unless they are invited.
To become one you must drink the blood of a vampire and the Vampire must drink yours. then you need to experience instant death like snapping of the neck or a great fall. The Code for VD Vampires is Vervian
Vervian is a special herb that is almost extinct. Vampires are highly allergic to it and if consumed they will be weak and vulnerable for hours at a time. if worn or kept in a pocket it can also protect you from vampire mind control. IT IS VERY RARE!
These vampires are powerless against the Sun, unless they have special Charms which are normally in the form of some sort of Jewlery that was made by Witches, like Damon and Stephen. (Must ask admin permission to have such a Charm). Vampires can heal exceptionally fast. It is possible that this accelerated healing also grants the vampire a very high pain threshold. Vampires have the ability to control minds, plague people's dreams, put their prey into a sort of trance and alter/erase their memories. Most Vampires refer to this ability as "compulsion". A vampire's ability to toy with the human mind can be negated using Vervain

Twilight Animal Shifters[/b][/u]
Animal shifters date back to the beginning of the native folklore. There are many legends about them; the best known story being that of the Quileute Spirit Warriors. Legends state that a spirit warrior/chief could leave his body and wander as a spirit, able to blow fierce winds, communicate with animals, and hear each other's thought. The legend goes on to states that one spirit warrior wanted to use this power to enslave neighboring tribes. Not having any of it, his chief banished him from the tribe. One day, the chief left his body in a hiding place to patrol the area for any danger. The banished warrior had followed him and stolen his body, cutting then his own throat to prevent the chief's return. The chief wandered for a while in spirit form, watching the thief do unspeakable things on his people. One day, the chief's spirit found a large, handsome wolf in the woods. Though jealous of the wolf's physical form, an idea came to him. He asked the wolf to share his body for him, and the wolf agreed. Rushing back to the village as the wolf, he met a few warriors, and he tried to make himself known by yelping Quileute songs. One of the warriors realized that the wolf was under a spirit's control, and, disobeying the thief's orders not to enter the spirit world, left his body to talk to it. The false chief killed him for the treachery. The real chief became enraged, and lunged forward intending to kill the man; his emotions were too much for the wolf, and it transformed into a magnificent human. The false chief got killed, and everything else got quickly set right. The chief sired many children, and found out that his sons, at the age of manhood, could transform into wolves as well. That is how the wolves came to be. The whole pack is made of the great - to however many degrees - ancestors of that original wolf; while there are female shifters they are rare.
Animal shifters’ appearance vary in both human and animal form though there are a few things in common, the amount of hair the shifter has as a human will determine how furry/feathery they will be in animal form. For this reason alone most shifters will keep their hair cropped as short as possible so that it is easier on their animal form. They are also monstrous versions of the animal they shift to. Wolves take on the size of a bear and so forth. This also reflected in their human form as they are tall (not to be taller than 6’6”), very muscular, harder in look and substance, and possess deep resonating voices. Animal shifters in the same tribe can often be confused for being identical versions of each other due to being in sync with one another and looking very similar in human appearance.
Animal Shifters are inhumanly fast, much like that of the twilight vampires. It has been said that they possess this ability in the fact that must be able to take on a vampire, their mortal enemy in every way possible. This speed is also possessed in a milder form when in human form. Animal shifters will be faster than any human while in human form. While they can be as fast as most vampires they are not faster than all vampires, this could be a direct correlation to how old the vampire is. It is suggested that the older the vampire is the stronger their abilities become. Their speed also affects more than just their ability to run. They also have at their disposal faster reflexes. So they are certainly quick enough to tear apart one vampire as a pack, no matter how strong that vampire is. Their strength is also very comparable to that of a twilight vampire; their teeth and jaw strength capable of tearing a vampire apart limb from limb. Most animal shifters are not aware of their strength while in human form and when over excited or angry can have irreparable consequences.
The physiology of an animal shifter is in itself amazing. The first time an animal shifter transform is not an easy time for them. It is very disconcerting and confusing; more times than not the shifter actually has no idea what they are before they shift for the first time. They also run hot, maintaining normal body temperatures of around 108-109 degrees Fahrenheit. Their body temperature acts as a weapon, harming vampires due to their intolerability of heat. Twilight vampires are extremely vulnerable to any forms of heat, thus easily affected by animal shifters extreme body temperatures. Their raging body temperature also makes them to an extent impervious to the cold and harder to overheat. While they do not possess granite hard skin like that of a vampire their skin can take a beating. It would be fairly easy for a human to hurt themselves if they try to physically hurt an animal shifter while in human form (as was evident when Bella broke her hand on Jacob’s jaw when she punched him in the face in anger). Animal shifters also have extremely heightened senses; another tool they use to seek out their enemy, the vampire. To a Shifter vampires smell sickly sweet and repellent. They can see long distances (upwards to a mile) and have very acute hearing (spanning about the same distance as their hearing.)
Animal shifters view pack bonds with reverence. They adhere to the rules of the alpha; his word being the supreme ruling. They also honor their pack bond by wearing the same tattoo representing their pack; only members of a pack and elder’s of their tribe know the significance behind the tattoo. While their stories are passed down from elder to young, they are told in a sense that they are almost considered make believe to the tribe’s young in hopes that they would not reveal tribe secrets to outsiders. It is for this reason when those with the ability to shift are confused and disconcerted. What they once thought was only a story turns out to be real and it turns their world upside down.
An animal shifter’s phasing is not contingent with the moon. Phasing can happen at any time and is tied greatly in their emotions; the angrier they are the easier it is to phase. The transformation is a violent process in its entirety; most times the wrong look or the wrong thing said to the prephased human cause them to “snap”. During the first phase their emotions are so high strung it can take weeks to phase back to human. A couple of thing with phasing are for certain: one the shifter must be in a calm state in which to change back to human form and the more shifter ancestry in their bloodline the easier it to change. There is only one thing that will cause the shifting gene to become active and phasing to begin: Vampires. When vampires are in the vicinity of a animal shifter tribe or near an animal shifter their phasing trait is triggered. Phasing tends to appear at manhood with a precursor in the form of a sudden growth spurt lasting about 2 months.
An animal shifter also has only one soul mate and he/she becomes evident when the shifter “imprints” on them. Imprinting is a phenomenon in which when the shifter sees their soul mate nothing else matters, he/she becomes their center of gravity; everything revolves around them. One shifter described it as such: "It's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like... gravity. When you see her, suddenly it's not the earth holding you here anymore. She does. And nothing matters more than her." Once a shapeshifter is imprinted, he/she will feel the need of constant being in his/her soulmate's presence and to unconditionally give him/her whatever she wants or needs. Should the imprintee be an infant, the shapeshifter will act as an older brother/sister; romantic feelings will not develop until he/she comes to age. Imprinting works on both humans and half vampires, although imprinting on a half vampire is VERY RARE (ADMIN approval only). If a shapeshifter imprints on a half vampire, his hatred for vampires will disappear. It is also law that no shapeshifter may harm the imprintee of a fellow pack member, as this will lead to destructive inpack fighting.

Humans[/b][/u]
Humans have no special powers. If a human finds out about a vampire it is because they are going to be turned or are about to die. The volturi are very strict on this. They live 80-90 years. The code word for humans is 'milkshake'. They can have children with Twilight vampires, shifters, werefolk, supernatural humans, angels/archangels in human vessels and demons/daemons in human vessels.
Supernatural Humans:[/b][/u]
Supernatural humans can live longer than a human but look the same, most are not immortal, they can have super powers but usually only one or two. Some supernatural humans are wizards or witches, elementals or special humans with super human abilities (Super speed or strength, telekinesis, telepathy, impaths etc.). The code word for Supernatural humans is 'Clark Kent'. While there are immortal Supernatural humans, special permission is required. All Supernatural humans will be reviewed and approved by the Kings.
Sentries:
Sentries are raised from birth with the sole purpose of killing True Vamps, when they pass their initial training, they are chosen by a staff with a sharpened end. This staff holds great power as it is cut from a sacred grove of trees and covered with magical runes. Staves choose their Sentries and have a psychic link that helps them find a vampire that is within 5 miles of them. It gives the Sentry super human speed, strength and agility. It also stops them from aging.. They have had no knowledge of the Twi Vamps until recently. They are unsure how to kill a Twi Vamp and none of them have gotten close enough to one to find out. For now, they hunt only True Vamps. Sentries are immortal in that they do not age, but they can be killed the same as any other human. The day they give up the battle between them and the vampire, they begin to age and no longer have any of the abilities they acquire when they take up the staff. The staff knows when they quit and will dissolve into ashes when they give it up. Sentries are monks of a martial arts design and their staves are like a third appendage. Sentry monasteries are located all over the world and are of all nationalities. Within their ranks are finders. Finders go out and find infants with the Sentry gene and take them back to the monastery. (They do not kidnap children, they adopt them from orphanages.)If two Sentries mate, they will have a child with the gene, if only one Sentry is the parent there is a 50/50 chance the child will have the gene, some children are born with the recessive gene but if they are not found by the age of seven they are not admitted into the monastery. There is one Sentry born every 500 years that is very powerful and has the ability to pass the gene onto a human or super human if they are a powerful warrior. They will immediately be drawn to the monastery where a staff will choose them. If they are refused by the staves, their memories will be wiped and they will be returned to where they are found. The gene will then will become dormant. This is why there is a need for finders.
Wereshifters (Shapeshifters)[/b][/u]
A shapeshifter can copy any animal's body and morph into an exact copy of that animal. The animal does not have to be a similar size to the shifter. However a shifter can not shift into another human as they are too complex to copy. Shapeshifters also have a go to shift, which is a shift they find easy to copy, the shapeshifter will have this animal around were they live, making it easier for them to shift quickly into this animal, wereshifter DNA is passed down from parent to child. Children will be given the same go to species as their parents. The code word for werefolk is 'pet'. Werefolk only breed with their own kind. Wolf w/wolf, Fox w/fox, Dog w/dog, Feline w/feline. While they can become any animal, werefolk clans tend to stick with a particular species or animal type. Children are expected to follow in their parents footsteps. Breeding outside the clan is frowned upon.
Elementals:
Elementals are a type of supernatural human. They are usually born with an ability to control and influence one of the elements such as earth, air, fire, water, light, dark. They cannot control more than one element. Elementals cannot be immortal. The code word for Elementals is 'horizon'. Elementals need to be surrounded by the elements they are linked with.
Angels and Demons:
Angels and Demons are not born. They are not the souls of humans who died and became an angel or demon. They are timeless and have been in existence since the dawn of time.
They come to earth and embody vessels. Angels either get permission to use a vessel or use the vessel of a dying human. Demons just use who they want use them up and throw them away. Daemons can kick the soul out of a body and take it over. It is theirs to keep.
Angels:
Angels are sent from heaven in human form usually to guard someone/thing or fulfil a mission. Arch Angels are higher angels. Angels can usually fly and can have some other powers. Angels are the embodiment of goodness. Angels are not humans who died and became angels. They have existed from the dawn of time. They cannot have children with other angels, demons, vampires or any combination thereof. Angels all have the same powers: Teleportation (to include holy ground), healing, empathy, heavenly light, flight, telekinesis, and empathetic weather control. With teleportation, Angels can go to their charges or someone they are directly connected with or holy ground and Archangels can teleport anywhere. An angel's raised voice can cause glass to shatter and eardrums to rupture. They also ALWAYS have blue eyes. The code word for angels and archangels is 'god's child'. Archangels have the same powers as angels only to a greater extent with more control and they can communicate directly with God.
Fallen Angels:
Fallen Angels are usually sent to earth to atone for some wrong doing in heaven. If they fail to redeem themselves they can be punished and sent to hell or possibly sentenced to wander earth forever. They are impaths and minor healers and if they have their wings they can fly short distances. They retain watered down versions of the angel abilities and if they call on God, he may help in a tough situation if they are doing his work. They may have one unique ability in addition to the watered down angelic abilities. The code word for fallen angels is 'broken wings.' They are generally not evil, they just made some bad mistakes. A fallen angel will retain blue eyes unless make the decision to not atone for their transgression. In that even their eyes will fade from the blue they once possessed to black since since deciding to not atoned puts them in more of a relation to Lucifer's lot.
Demons and Daemons:
Demons are usually sent to earth to steal something or kill someone. They are the embodiment of evil and enjoy causing havoc and pain. They possess the ability to fly, inflict pain and fear, telekinesis. They are unable to step foot on holy ground. They also possess a power all their own and can teleport to dense concentrations of evil. A demon will always have black eyes. They come from Hell and are ruled by Lucifer. The code word for demons is 'brimstone.' They hate angels and will usually attempt to kill an angel on sight.
Hybrids:
A mix of two of the above. You cannot have a hybrid that is a angel/demon mix. Remember that Angels/Archs and Demons/Daemons do not own their body. While they give their essence to children they create, the DNA passed with be that of the human they embody.
There is no code for hybrids due to the fact that they must be pre-approved by King Elek. In order to submit a hybrid please send a PM to King Elek with a detailed description of the hybrid. Only approved submissions to King Elek (username Admin) will be accepted.

Whether it be human or animal is up to the vampire. If a vampire does not drink blood for a considerable amount of time, their heart will try to pump blood through their veins, but once there's none left, their veins rub together like sandpaper. It is a very painful experience. It has not been said if certain vampires preffer different types of blood, but it is presumed that while aging vampires need a smaller quantity of blood each time they feed. Vampires are nearly indestructible. A vampire stops aging once turned. They can not enter home unless they are invited.
To become one you must drink the blood of a vampire and the Vampire must drink yours. then you need to experience instant death like snapping of the neck or a great fall. The Code for VD Vampires is Vervian
Vervian is a special herb that is almost extinct. Vampires are highly allergic to it and if consumed they will be weak and vulnerable for hours at a time. if worn or kept in a pocket it can also protect you from vampire mind control. IT IS VERY RARE!
These vampires are powerless against the Sun, unless they have special Charms which are normally in the form of some sort of Jewlery that was made by Witches, like Damon and Stephen. (Must ask admin permission to have such a Charm). Vampires can heal exceptionally fast. It is possible that this accelerated healing also grants the vampire a very high pain threshold. Vampires have the ability to control minds, plague people's dreams, put their prey into a sort of trance and alter/erase their memories. Most Vampires refer to this ability as "compulsion". A vampire's ability to toy with the human mind can be negated using Vervain
Main weakness are-Wood, Vervian, Sunlight, Fire and Decapitation, or a bite from a shifter
Twilight Animal Shifters[/b][/u]
Animal shifters date back to the beginning of the native folklore. There are many legends about them; the best known story being that of the Quileute Spirit Warriors. Legends state that a spirit warrior/chief could leave his body and wander as a spirit, able to blow fierce winds, communicate with animals, and hear each other's thought. The legend goes on to states that one spirit warrior wanted to use this power to enslave neighboring tribes. Not having any of it, his chief banished him from the tribe. One day, the chief left his body in a hiding place to patrol the area for any danger. The banished warrior had followed him and stolen his body, cutting then his own throat to prevent the chief's return. The chief wandered for a while in spirit form, watching the thief do unspeakable things on his people. One day, the chief's spirit found a large, handsome wolf in the woods. Though jealous of the wolf's physical form, an idea came to him. He asked the wolf to share his body for him, and the wolf agreed. Rushing back to the village as the wolf, he met a few warriors, and he tried to make himself known by yelping Quileute songs. One of the warriors realized that the wolf was under a spirit's control, and, disobeying the thief's orders not to enter the spirit world, left his body to talk to it. The false chief killed him for the treachery. The real chief became enraged, and lunged forward intending to kill the man; his emotions were too much for the wolf, and it transformed into a magnificent human. The false chief got killed, and everything else got quickly set right. The chief sired many children, and found out that his sons, at the age of manhood, could transform into wolves as well. That is how the wolves came to be. The whole pack is made of the great - to however many degrees - ancestors of that original wolf; while there are female shifters they are rare.
Animal shifters’ appearance vary in both human and animal form though there are a few things in common, the amount of hair the shifter has as a human will determine how furry/feathery they will be in animal form. For this reason alone most shifters will keep their hair cropped as short as possible so that it is easier on their animal form. They are also monstrous versions of the animal they shift to. Wolves take on the size of a bear and so forth. This also reflected in their human form as they are tall (not to be taller than 6’6”), very muscular, harder in look and substance, and possess deep resonating voices. Animal shifters in the same tribe can often be confused for being identical versions of each other due to being in sync with one another and looking very similar in human appearance.
Animal Shifters are inhumanly fast, much like that of the twilight vampires. It has been said that they possess this ability in the fact that must be able to take on a vampire, their mortal enemy in every way possible. This speed is also possessed in a milder form when in human form. Animal shifters will be faster than any human while in human form. While they can be as fast as most vampires they are not faster than all vampires, this could be a direct correlation to how old the vampire is. It is suggested that the older the vampire is the stronger their abilities become. Their speed also affects more than just their ability to run. They also have at their disposal faster reflexes. So they are certainly quick enough to tear apart one vampire as a pack, no matter how strong that vampire is. Their strength is also very comparable to that of a twilight vampire; their teeth and jaw strength capable of tearing a vampire apart limb from limb. Most animal shifters are not aware of their strength while in human form and when over excited or angry can have irreparable consequences.
The physiology of an animal shifter is in itself amazing. The first time an animal shifter transform is not an easy time for them. It is very disconcerting and confusing; more times than not the shifter actually has no idea what they are before they shift for the first time. They also run hot, maintaining normal body temperatures of around 108-109 degrees Fahrenheit. Their body temperature acts as a weapon, harming vampires due to their intolerability of heat. Twilight vampires are extremely vulnerable to any forms of heat, thus easily affected by animal shifters extreme body temperatures. Their raging body temperature also makes them to an extent impervious to the cold and harder to overheat. While they do not possess granite hard skin like that of a vampire their skin can take a beating. It would be fairly easy for a human to hurt themselves if they try to physically hurt an animal shifter while in human form (as was evident when Bella broke her hand on Jacob’s jaw when she punched him in the face in anger). Animal shifters also have extremely heightened senses; another tool they use to seek out their enemy, the vampire. To a Shifter vampires smell sickly sweet and repellent. They can see long distances (upwards to a mile) and have very acute hearing (spanning about the same distance as their hearing.)
Animal shifters view pack bonds with reverence. They adhere to the rules of the alpha; his word being the supreme ruling. They also honor their pack bond by wearing the same tattoo representing their pack; only members of a pack and elder’s of their tribe know the significance behind the tattoo. While their stories are passed down from elder to young, they are told in a sense that they are almost considered make believe to the tribe’s young in hopes that they would not reveal tribe secrets to outsiders. It is for this reason when those with the ability to shift are confused and disconcerted. What they once thought was only a story turns out to be real and it turns their world upside down.
An animal shifter’s phasing is not contingent with the moon. Phasing can happen at any time and is tied greatly in their emotions; the angrier they are the easier it is to phase. The transformation is a violent process in its entirety; most times the wrong look or the wrong thing said to the prephased human cause them to “snap”. During the first phase their emotions are so high strung it can take weeks to phase back to human. A couple of thing with phasing are for certain: one the shifter must be in a calm state in which to change back to human form and the more shifter ancestry in their bloodline the easier it to change. There is only one thing that will cause the shifting gene to become active and phasing to begin: Vampires. When vampires are in the vicinity of a animal shifter tribe or near an animal shifter their phasing trait is triggered. Phasing tends to appear at manhood with a precursor in the form of a sudden growth spurt lasting about 2 months.
An animal shifter also has only one soul mate and he/she becomes evident when the shifter “imprints” on them. Imprinting is a phenomenon in which when the shifter sees their soul mate nothing else matters, he/she becomes their center of gravity; everything revolves around them. One shifter described it as such: "It's not like love at first sight, really. It's more like... gravity. When you see her, suddenly it's not the earth holding you here anymore. She does. And nothing matters more than her." Once a shapeshifter is imprinted, he/she will feel the need of constant being in his/her soulmate's presence and to unconditionally give him/her whatever she wants or needs. Should the imprintee be an infant, the shapeshifter will act as an older brother/sister; romantic feelings will not develop until he/she comes to age. Imprinting works on both humans and half vampires, although imprinting on a half vampire is VERY RARE (ADMIN approval only). If a shapeshifter imprints on a half vampire, his hatred for vampires will disappear. It is also law that no shapeshifter may harm the imprintee of a fellow pack member, as this will lead to destructive inpack fighting.
At this time there is a HOLD on all twilight characters. New members may have ONE only and existing member may not create any more until further notice. These rules will remain in full force effect until the species census is back to normal EXCEPT with prior Admin approval.
Humans[/b][/u]
Humans have no special powers. If a human finds out about a vampire it is because they are going to be turned or are about to die. The volturi are very strict on this. They live 80-90 years. The code word for humans is 'milkshake'. They can have children with Twilight vampires, shifters, werefolk, supernatural humans, angels/archangels in human vessels and demons/daemons in human vessels.
Supernatural Humans:[/b][/u]
Supernatural humans can live longer than a human but look the same, most are not immortal, they can have super powers but usually only one or two. Some supernatural humans are wizards or witches, elementals or special humans with super human abilities (Super speed or strength, telekinesis, telepathy, impaths etc.). The code word for Supernatural humans is 'Clark Kent'. While there are immortal Supernatural humans, special permission is required. All Supernatural humans will be reviewed and approved by the Kings.
Sentries:
Sentries are raised from birth with the sole purpose of killing True Vamps, when they pass their initial training, they are chosen by a staff with a sharpened end. This staff holds great power as it is cut from a sacred grove of trees and covered with magical runes. Staves choose their Sentries and have a psychic link that helps them find a vampire that is within 5 miles of them. It gives the Sentry super human speed, strength and agility. It also stops them from aging.. They have had no knowledge of the Twi Vamps until recently. They are unsure how to kill a Twi Vamp and none of them have gotten close enough to one to find out. For now, they hunt only True Vamps. Sentries are immortal in that they do not age, but they can be killed the same as any other human. The day they give up the battle between them and the vampire, they begin to age and no longer have any of the abilities they acquire when they take up the staff. The staff knows when they quit and will dissolve into ashes when they give it up. Sentries are monks of a martial arts design and their staves are like a third appendage. Sentry monasteries are located all over the world and are of all nationalities. Within their ranks are finders. Finders go out and find infants with the Sentry gene and take them back to the monastery. (They do not kidnap children, they adopt them from orphanages.)If two Sentries mate, they will have a child with the gene, if only one Sentry is the parent there is a 50/50 chance the child will have the gene, some children are born with the recessive gene but if they are not found by the age of seven they are not admitted into the monastery. There is one Sentry born every 500 years that is very powerful and has the ability to pass the gene onto a human or super human if they are a powerful warrior. They will immediately be drawn to the monastery where a staff will choose them. If they are refused by the staves, their memories will be wiped and they will be returned to where they are found. The gene will then will become dormant. This is why there is a need for finders.
Wereshifters (Shapeshifters)[/b][/u]
A shapeshifter can copy any animal's body and morph into an exact copy of that animal. The animal does not have to be a similar size to the shifter. However a shifter can not shift into another human as they are too complex to copy. Shapeshifters also have a go to shift, which is a shift they find easy to copy, the shapeshifter will have this animal around were they live, making it easier for them to shift quickly into this animal, wereshifter DNA is passed down from parent to child. Children will be given the same go to species as their parents. The code word for werefolk is 'pet'. Werefolk only breed with their own kind. Wolf w/wolf, Fox w/fox, Dog w/dog, Feline w/feline. While they can become any animal, werefolk clans tend to stick with a particular species or animal type. Children are expected to follow in their parents footsteps. Breeding outside the clan is frowned upon.
Elementals:
Elementals are a type of supernatural human. They are usually born with an ability to control and influence one of the elements such as earth, air, fire, water, light, dark. They cannot control more than one element. Elementals cannot be immortal. The code word for Elementals is 'horizon'. Elementals need to be surrounded by the elements they are linked with.
Angels and Demons:
Angels and Demons are not born. They are not the souls of humans who died and became an angel or demon. They are timeless and have been in existence since the dawn of time.
They come to earth and embody vessels. Angels either get permission to use a vessel or use the vessel of a dying human. Demons just use who they want use them up and throw them away. Daemons can kick the soul out of a body and take it over. It is theirs to keep.
Angels:
Angels are sent from heaven in human form usually to guard someone/thing or fulfil a mission. Arch Angels are higher angels. Angels can usually fly and can have some other powers. Angels are the embodiment of goodness. Angels are not humans who died and became angels. They have existed from the dawn of time. They cannot have children with other angels, demons, vampires or any combination thereof. Angels all have the same powers: Teleportation (to include holy ground), healing, empathy, heavenly light, flight, telekinesis, and empathetic weather control. With teleportation, Angels can go to their charges or someone they are directly connected with or holy ground and Archangels can teleport anywhere. An angel's raised voice can cause glass to shatter and eardrums to rupture. They also ALWAYS have blue eyes. The code word for angels and archangels is 'god's child'. Archangels have the same powers as angels only to a greater extent with more control and they can communicate directly with God.
Fallen Angels:
Fallen Angels are usually sent to earth to atone for some wrong doing in heaven. If they fail to redeem themselves they can be punished and sent to hell or possibly sentenced to wander earth forever. They are impaths and minor healers and if they have their wings they can fly short distances. They retain watered down versions of the angel abilities and if they call on God, he may help in a tough situation if they are doing his work. They may have one unique ability in addition to the watered down angelic abilities. The code word for fallen angels is 'broken wings.' They are generally not evil, they just made some bad mistakes. A fallen angel will retain blue eyes unless make the decision to not atone for their transgression. In that even their eyes will fade from the blue they once possessed to black since since deciding to not atoned puts them in more of a relation to Lucifer's lot.
Demons and Daemons:
Demons are usually sent to earth to steal something or kill someone. They are the embodiment of evil and enjoy causing havoc and pain. They possess the ability to fly, inflict pain and fear, telekinesis. They are unable to step foot on holy ground. They also possess a power all their own and can teleport to dense concentrations of evil. A demon will always have black eyes. They come from Hell and are ruled by Lucifer. The code word for demons is 'brimstone.' They hate angels and will usually attempt to kill an angel on sight.
Hybrids:
A mix of two of the above. You cannot have a hybrid that is a angel/demon mix. Remember that Angels/Archs and Demons/Daemons do not own their body. While they give their essence to children they create, the DNA passed with be that of the human they embody.
There is no code for hybrids due to the fact that they must be pre-approved by King Elek. In order to submit a hybrid please send a PM to King Elek with a detailed description of the hybrid. Only approved submissions to King Elek (username Admin) will be accepted.
Any variation on this list must be approved by the Admins in PM.
