It was a nice cool night, a good night for walking through the city. Not very many people out and Genni could stretch her legs without having to worry about being spotted by the agency. She was so tired of getting chased around by them all the time. At first it had been kind of fun but after a few years it was old.
She had originally come to this area because she thought she may find clues to her real identity but no such luck. There was nothing she could find that could link her to anyone. She started thinking of other options like maybe the agency had forced some woman to have her, but if that was true then she wouldn’t have the bracelet. That was the key to finding out who she was, she just needed to figure out how to use it to get information.
All this thinking was starting to bug her. She was bored, being on the run all the time never allowed her to do anything fun or to talk to anyone. It was an extremely lonely life, but she knew that it was for the best. She couldn’t let anyone close to her, they could end up getting hurt.
After walking for a while she decided to rest in a club she had seen the other day. Though she hadn’t expected the club to be so loud and crowded. People were everywhere dancing and the bar was full of people. It seemed like a fun enough place. She pushed her way past a crowd and made her way to an empty table in the back. She would spend a little while here until she figured out her next move. She made herself comfortable in and started watching all the people around her. There were a few interesting people from what she could tell, but so far none interesting enough for her to speak to.

Lave had decided to walk the streets and see what fun there could be had. He turned some as he saw two women strolling down the streets. He wasn't really paying attention to them so much as he was wondering how they would react to a quick rain. He strode into a club just as the clouds came forward and he watched out of the window as the ran came down hard on everyone in the street. He took a step aside as the door swung open and he was nearly plummeted with people coming in.
He then saw a man across the street staring at him when he ducked some and walked to the back of the place. His all leather attire seeming a bit out of place but he didn't mind. He sat down after turning the chair around and straddling it. He had sat at a table with a woman. "Hello there." He chuckled wickedly at that. "I will be on my way shortly. I just thought you could use some company and I could use someone to talk with."
He brought his arms to the back of the chair and crossed them as he looked at her. "What's your name?" He murmured even as he picked up the sugar container and began spinning it lightly with his finger before it dropped and spilled sugar over the table. He grinned wickedly at that. "Sorry just sort of happened." He went to grab the salt as if he had an attention problem and the table would be probably a mess by the time he got through with it.
He looked up at her but then looked to the door before looking back at her. "You into music?" He chuckled softly. At least he was being nice, right? Sort of... Maybe? He tilted his head some as he waited for her answers. "Oh, I'm Lave, by the way. Hope you don't mind my taking a seat. It seemed logical and you are quite pretty as well."

She wasn’t sure what she thought exactly of this person who had sat down at her table. Just the way he looked seemed to stand out, let alone the way he was acting. She had never really been in a situation like this before so she wasn’t sure how she should act. He seemed okay enough. “I suppose I could use some company.” It was better then sitting alone, though she wasn’t sure if she was comfortable with this stranger.
She heard him ask her name and was about to answer when he dropped the sugar container, sending sugar all over the table and some on her. “Um, My name is Geneva.” She said as she dusted the sugar off of her shirt and some of the sugar that had spilled onto the table. He was such an odd character, she couldn’t tell if he was going to be trouble or if he was just the kind of person who liked to mess around with people. She saw him reaching for the salt and slid it out of his reach so there wouldn’t be a repeat incident. She didn’t want to be covered in sugar and salt.
“I like to listen to music but I don’t really know much about it.” She wasn’t allowed to listen to music or goof around when she had been apart of the agency. “I don’t mind, like I said before I could use the company. It’s kind of boring sitting in here all by myself.” She raised an eyebrow when he said she was pretty. Was she pretty? She didn’t know. She didn’t think she looked bad so maybe she was pretty. “What brings you to this club if you don’t mind me asking.”

Lave grinned wickedly at her response. His eyes slid up to meet her eyes. "Company is always a good thing. You can't ever not meet too many people." He murmured with a boyish look. He knew he could say something mean but he didn't know too many people at the moment and she seemed actually pretty nice. He didn't feel like being too mean to her. No, he was being actually nice which was scary to him.
He looked at the sugar he had sent all over the table and chuckled at the mess. Most would have smacked him across the face for getting them dirty but she seemed unfazed by it. "Sugar for the sugar, Geneva. Sweet for the sweet if you could get any sweeter that is." He chuckled at the pick up line. "What a lame pick up line, huh? I couldn't agree more." He had went to reach for the salt when she slid it out of his reach. "Hey..." He didn't understand exactly why she had done it but then he lifted his shoulders in a slight shrug.
He listened to her talk of music and stayed quiet even as he looked back at her. "You don't know much music? Perhaps I should offer tutoring for it then." He grinned at that. "Hey, if this is a date shouldn't you be asking if I would like a drink?" He teased lightly. "Not that I drink so, I'm sorry but I have to decline the drink." He gave another boyish grin at that. "Especially boring without me about to keep you entertained." He practically purred the words in such a charming way. "As for what brings me here... It started raining and I figured I could be able to listen to some music and sit a bit to wait it out." He chuckled knowing he had started the rain but she didn't know that.
"Then I saw you and figured you could use some company. Nobody should ever sit alone. You just grab a chair and take a seat. I didn't hear you say leave so I'm still here so that is a good thing, right?" He grinned wickedly at that.

Genni was having a hard time keeping up with him. He was charming but he seemed a little full of himself as well, and he seemed to like to hear himself speak. He was defiantly a unique character and their conversation so far seemed to be one sided. She should have probably been a little upset and maybe even a little bit annoyed but she wasn’t. She found the way he was acting extremely interesting. “It would be nice to learn about music, but I rarely have the time to learn anything like that these days.”
She raised an eyebrow she he started talking about a date, “A date? Getting a little ahead of yourself aren’t you?” she laughed quietly. She had never actually been on a date before, another interesting thing to think about. “I have to admit it is extremely hard to be bored around someone as entertaining as you are.” she hadn’t even noticed that it had started raining outside. It must have started just before she had gone inside. “Yes it is a good thing, if I wanted you to leave I would have said so, I am enjoying your company.”

Lave talked a lot and knew it. It was his way of keeping things entertaining. Quite a few people had told him to shut up before but he just couldn't sustain the silence for long. He was like his storms. He made sure they were full of thunder. It was quite funny really. Some of the vampires he had been around said vampires didn't have control of the weather. That was left for elemental beings and he wasn't one of them. He chuckled and looked to the sky and bam were they proven wrong.
"There is always time for music." He couldn't go without listening to music for too long. It was much like a way of life. You beat to your own drum. Marched to your own tune. He grinned at that thought. Everyone had time for music. It was everywhere. But he didn't say anything about it. He was kind of surprised though that she would say she didn't have time for it.
"I'm never too far ahead of myself." He had heard her laugh. "See if I was off base you would have gotten up and stalked off with a humph thrown my way for good measure." He chuckled at that. "Just think of me as some goth jester. Everyone does." He looked towards the window and grinned. Yes, it was still down pouring. Excellent. "Want to take a walk? The rain is always beautiful. It was so hot before and the rain cools it down."

Geneva though about what he said and there always being time for music. She wondered if that was really true. She had grown up being taught that things like music and fun were pointless, A waste of time. Though the life of a solider had never really suited her. She always had questioned why they couldn’t do certain things. Maybe she should try to learn a little more about music, “Ok then, what can you teach me about music?”
She looked outside when he asked if she wanted to go for a walk. She didn’t mind walking in the rain and getting wet, but she wasn’t sure if she trusted Lave enough to walk anywhere with him. Then again if he did pull something funny she could just teleport to somewhere else. “Actually I think a walk would be really nice. This place is a little crowded and walking in the rain seems like more fun then sitting here.”
