Lance dresses in button down shirts, untucked and a dark tan leather coat that hangs just below his hips. He wears leather pants as he is fond of the way leather feels against his skin.

So tell me about yourself.
I was born the son of King Ban of Benwick and Elaine. When I was a child, my father was driven from his home with myself and my mother. My father was wounded. While my mother was tending him, I wandered off and was lost by the shore of a lake and found by a powerful pagen priestess named Vivien. She took me and raised me as her own.
When I became a man, I studied to be a knight, and I became the best night in the realm. I joined by kings elite force and was soon appointed their leader and the king became my best and most loved friend. My king was soon married to a lady lovely and fair and I soon fell in love with her. I kept my feelings to myself until I saw that she looked at me much the same way that I looked at her. But she was my best friends wife and I could not betray him.
One night I was tricked by Vivien into sleeping with a woman who fell in love with me. She bore my child, a son. I was unable to return her feelings and to my despair, she killed herself.
There came a time when my lady and myself could no longer hide our feelings and we fell into a passionate embrace. My king witnessed this and it broke his heart. My lady ran away to a nunnery and I exiled myself from the kingdom.
The kingdom suffered and fell into a depressed state, just as the king did. His broken heart seemed to reflect in the land itself. I returned to my king to beg his forgiveness when I found him in the heat of battle and saved his life. He took my back with welcoming open arms much to my surprise. I was once again placed as first knight. My son had grown to be a knight himself, and was placed under my command.
We knights were sent on a daring adventure to find something for our king. An item of great value, thought to hold the secret to immortality. It was my son, another knight and myself who found it. The three of us were given the gift of immortality. By the time we returned home the kingdom had fallen at the hands of my kings illegitimate son. It was saddening. There were many battles to come to try to take the kingdom back, but our efforts were futile. The king fell in battle and the knights were scattered. The three of us were separated and I never saw my son again.
I have been wandering from place to place, trying to mend my broken heart for the loss of my king, my best friend, my son and my lady. It is a difficult thing to do. I am so alone. Everyone I meet grows old and dies and I have found it impossible to love anyone again. I cannot bare to lose anyone else. I met another man who is immortal, only he was cursed. But he told me of other immortals and mythical creatures who seemed to be gathering in Washington. I have decided to make my way there. It would be nice to find some friends who won’t die on me in 40 or 50 years.

I engaged in inappropriate relations with my best friend’s wife. I am melancholy at the moment due to my extreme loneliness. I broke my own heart.
