Playby:Ashley Greene
Name: Alice Cullen (Born Mary Alice Brandon)
Age: 109/19
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Species: Vampire
Physical Description: Alice is a very beautiful person, petite in that she is the shortest of the Cullens at 4'10", thin in the extreme, with small, pixie-like features. She has large eyes and long, delicate eyebrows. Her hair is cropped short, spiky, and inky black. She moves gracefully, continually cited as dancing, with a carriage that would "break any ballerina's heart". James states that, when she was human, Alice's blood smelled much better than Bella's.
Attitude: Alice is a very optimistic person. It’s pretty easy to be so when one can see the future. She also tends to do things her way because, let’s face it, they turn out better that way. She knows how her ability works and it’s helps her to make decisions. She also likes to get her way, and she does get her way, thanks again to her special ability. [/size]
Family/Pack or Coven: Cullen Coven
Father: Charles-Deceased
Mother: Abigail-Deceased
Siblings: Cynthia (Brandon) Perkins/98
Abilities: Alice possesses the ability of Clairvoyance. She can see the future. Seeing the future is tricky though, for She can see more than one future possibility depending on if the person is indecisive or they change their mind. It also can some with spots, like if the person she's watching hides their decisions from me by letting someone else make the decision. Also she has learned that she cannot see the future for something She has not been, like Shifters and Half Vampires. When they become involved in the future of the person she is tracking, then she loses the ability to track them…which she learned because of Bella and her extreme sports.
History: As told by Alice:
Mary Alice Brandon. That’s the name I was given when I was born. I don’t know a lot about my human life. What I do know is that I was a gifted human; I had the ability of premonition. My parents must have panicked. In the 1900’s to have a child with special abilities or needs was a social crippler. Their social standing, wherever it was on the social ladder, would have been ruined by knowledge of what I can do. So they institutionalized me and told everyone that I had died. I even have a grave marker with my name and date on it. I found out, after stealing my file from the institution, that it was the date of my admission there.
I don’t remember much about the institution. All I remember is darkness. It was a never ending darkness. I still, to this day, do not understanding how people of that day could be so narrow minded. I have come to find out, thanks to a certain now dead vampire (James), that there was a vampire that worked at the institution where I was left. He knew that James, insane with the desire to hunt me down and kill me because my blood was intoxicating to him, was after me. The unknown vampire turned me to protect me from James. He then killed the vampire in a fit of rage because he lost to his little games. It turns out that Bella and I are the only ones to escape James.
James left, and with the other vampire now truly dead I had no one to really teach me what a vampire was. I had to learn on my own. My ability of premonition was intensified after my change. I saw who I was to become, a vampire that didn’t have to feed on humans. I could suffice on the blood of animals. I had also seen that I would find Jasper and become a part of the Cullen Coven, a group of vegetarian vampires. My ability helped me to develop a conscience that I most likely did not have as a human. It kept me from feeding on humans, even when I thought at time the bloodlust would completely consume me.
In pursuit of the vision I had, where Jasper and I were with the Cullen Family, I set out to find him. My vision led me to an empty diner. I waited for what seemed to be an eternity until he showed up. I sensed him fully with having even set eyes on him before. I approached him, letting him know that he had kept me waiting quite a while, to which he took a bow and replied “My apologies, ma’am”. I extended out my hand to him, knowing he would take it, and we soon began our search of the Cullen family.
We finally found the Cullen Family in 1950 with further help of my visions. Carlisle, the patriarch of the family, was more than happy to accept Jasper and I into the coven, where we have been ever since. During our travels to find the Cullen Family I fell in love with Jasper. He is my Soul mate, the one I would put above all else in the world. We are very protective if each other. I have help Jasper become the vegetarian vampire that he is now. He struggles, which is understandable considering how he was taught as a newborn Vampire. But he strives to make me happy so he works everyday at his control. We have married once, because there is no way I’ll ever be as flamboyant as Rosalie with her God knows how many weddings.
RP Sample:
“Bella, surely you can take some of my advice on what and what not to wear? Come on please?”
Alice furrowed her eyebrows at her sister-in-law’s apparent lack of taste in clothing. How long had Bella been a vampire now? A few years at least, yet no matter what She tried, Alice could not get her to budge on her wardrobe, or rather lack of it. Numerous times Alice tricked Bella into shopping adventures only to have them blow up in her face, an utter failure. Alice was at her wits end. She had lately resorted to bargaining with Renesmee to sweet talk her mom into at least trying to dress differently. Bella was a woman. It was a woman’s right to fawn over clothes and hair and makeup yet Bella at no interest in it whatsoever.
“Bella you know it would just be easier for you to give into me. After all I can see the future and you know I always win in the long run. We can either do this the easy way or the hard way. It’s up to you.”
It was apparent that in all things considering this would was one thing Bella would not budge on. It would seem her stubborn streak only intensified with becoming a vampire. That was quite alright, Alice possessed an equal, if not, stronger stubborn streak than Bella did. It also did not hurt that Alice could see every single decision Bella would make before she would make it; a pretty handy gift to have up one’s sleeve. She could already see the different futures playing out based upon Bella’s thought pattern. It seemed one continued to be foremost in her mind. Alice’s lips curled up ever so slightly as Bella made her decision.
“I guess we’re doing this the hard way then.” Alice chuckled as she ran through the cottage and onward to Bella’s closet. Once she was done Bella would have no choice but to buy more clothes. She didn’t care how many times it would take her destroying Bella’s wardrobe, she would make Bella find some fashion sense.
