Already graduated with a college degree in biochemistry, and will be going to graduate school in Seattle a couple of days per week.
Tell me about your history.:
Sebastian Scott Drake was born to his parents, Lena Harrison and Aaron Drake. Lena and Aaron were sweethearts in high school, but parted ways afterwards, because they went to separate universities across the country. Lena majored in Marketing and Public Relations, while Aaron majored in Physical Therapy. Both had married soon after college, but neither had any children of their own. They didn’t meet again until almost ten years later. Lena had been the victim of a hit-and-run, and in the process, it left her scarred for life, both physically and mentally. She had decided to take physical therapy, in order to gain a better usage of her legs, which had been broken in the accident. Her physical therapist happened to be Aaron, and they realized this when they met for their first session. For three years, he worked with her, and he also created a relationship with her, helping to heal her mental scars. Though they never married, they had one son together, Sebastian. He was their pride and joy, but they didn’t have long to spend with him. Sebastian and his parents were involved in a car accident close to his first birthday, and they died. Sebastian was then sent to live with his paternal grandparents. There, he was given the last name of his father.
Sebastian’s grandparents raised him well, on their ranch in Montana. His grandfather Joseph owned many acres of land there, and he raised cattle and horses on them. His grandmother Marion assisted Joseph with the horses, while he mainly worked with the cattle. They also had many ranch hands, but Sebastian helped out anyway, to build moral character, as his grandfather explained it. Sebastian spent many summers working there, when he wasn’t going to school in the nearby town. He didn’t make many friends, but people still liked him anyway. He never really participated in extracurricular activities, because he was always working on the ranch. One day, his grandfather had requested he go up into one of the pastures, in search of a missing steer. Sebastian did as he was told, and while he was up there, a burning sensation surged through his body. It was there he shifted into a mountain lion for the first time. Afraid, he quickly phased back, and he found the missing steer. Up until he graduated, he would go off into the nearby mountains on his own and phase.
He went to college at a university in Seattle, and it was affordable because of his full-ride scholarship he received based on his grades, and on the condition that he ran track for the school. After his third year, he received some horrible news: his grandparents had died together in their sleep. Though they were finally at peace, Sebastian sold the ranch to another family, and he used the money to pay for school, giving up part of his scholarship. He used most of the money to pay for his tuition, and after he graduated with his degree in biochemistry, he decided to use what he had left to start paying for graduate school. He then decided to live in La Push, Washington, while he went up to Seattle for graduate classes twice a week. He has the wedding bands from his grandparents, something to remember them by.
